Day 1 at MAGIC!
Continuing our 'west coast' fashion/business trip, Nneka and I attended Day 1 of the MAGIC Convention in Las Vegas, NV! MAGIC is where the international community of apparel, accessories and footwear professionals trade information, previews trends, builds business and shops fashion unlike anywhere else in the industry. Today, we decided to attend a few of the many seminars scheduled and received some amazing insight on various industry topics from Mercedes Gonzalez, Director of Global Purchasing Companies; Yona Shtern, CEO of beyondtherack.com; Daniel Saynt, VP of Marketing at Rebecca Minkoff, and many more. This month we ventured to the west coast for some LA fabric shopping, research, and our first westside trunk show!! The show was held at the Omni Hotel and featured new DNT spring looks alongside cute, funky Nneka Saran handbags!
